Travelling showcase celebrates nearly two centuries of Swiss horological mastery with rare timepieces and immersive craftsmanship experiences

Mumbai, 25 September 2025:Jaeger-LeCoultre, The Watchmaker of Watchmakers™, in partnership with Art of Time, has unveiled The Precision Pioneer—the Maison’s first-ever travelling exhibition in India. The showcase, running from 23 September to 6 October 2025 at Art of Time’s Amarchand Mansion boutique in Colaba, offers Indian collectors and enthusiasts a rare opportunity to experience the Swiss brand’s legacy of precision and innovation.
Following its acclaimed debut at Watches & Wonders Geneva, The Precision Pioneer traces Jaeger-LeCoultre’s nearly two-century-long pursuit of accuracy, from founder Antoine LeCoultre’s groundbreaking inventions in Vallée de Joux to contemporary horological marvels.
A Journey in Four Chapters
Presented within a specially designed circular boutique installation, the exhibition unfolds the story of precision across four chapters:
The Precision of Production – showcasing the Maison’s origins and inventions that transformed modern watchmaking.
The Precision of Chronometry – highlighting milestones in timekeeping accuracy and chronometer-certified achievements.
The Precision of Regulating Organs – exploring innovations in balance wheels, hairsprings, and tourbillons.
The Precision of Complications – presenting breakthroughs such as the Duometre mechanism and high complications.
Visitors can witness calibre assembly demonstrations, circular graining workshops, and interactive watchmaking animations, offering a behind-the-scenes view of hand craftsmanship.
Rare Masterpieces on Display
The exhibition brings to Mumbai a curated collection of heritage pieces and contemporary high-watchmaking icons, including:
Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 (Blue Gyrotourbillon): Featuring a dual-face design, hand-applied blue lacquer, skeletonized movement, and semi-spherical balance spring, this creation exemplifies Jaeger-LeCoultre’s fusion of artistry and innovation.
Master Grande Tradition Calibre 948 World-Timer (Green): Limited to just 20 pieces, this timepiece combines a Universal Tourbillon with enamel, guillochage, and lacquer craftsmanship, distinguished by its domed world map in pink gold.
