Satirical front-page execution mirrors the show’s quirky newsroom theme

Mumbai, September 8, 2025:JioHotstar is rolling out a bold, print-led promotional campaign for its new comedy series The Paper, a spin-off of The Office. The show follows a team of hapless yet endearing journalists, led by their determined editor, as they attempt to revive a struggling newspaper in an era when the role of print is under constant scrutiny.
Bringing the show’s premise to life, the campaign uses self-aware, satirical front-page executions across leading publications. With humor at its core, the creative strategy mirrors the quirky tone of the series while playfully engaging audiences through the very medium central to its storyline—print news.
The 10-episode series stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina Impacciatore, Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young, and Tim Key. Guest appearances include Eric Rahill (The Bear), Allan Havey (Seinfeld), Duane Shepherd Sr (Parks & Rec), Molly Ephraim, Nancy Lenehan, Mo Welch, and Nate Jackson.
The Paper is now streaming exclusively on JioHotstar.
