Festive tournaments, exclusive drops, and a grand Meet & Greet in Mumbai mark KONAMI’s biggest India-focused eFootball™ campaign yet
India – August 5, 2025: Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. (KONAMI) has announced its most ambitious India-centric eFootball™ campaign to date, featuring a powerful lineup of sports and entertainment icons including cricketer KL Rahul, football legend Sunil Chhetri, and actor Ahan Shetty. The campaign runs from August through October 2025, celebrating key Indian festivals—Independence Day and Diwali—and will culminate in a grand Meet & Greet event in Mumbai this December.
As part of the initiative, KONAMI will host two marquee online tournaments—The Independence Day Cup and The Diwali Cup—designed to engage India’s rapidly growing gaming audience. Fans will also get exclusive content drops, digital activations, and community rewards throughout the campaign.
Joining the lineup are content creator Focused Indian and rising cricket star Nitish Kumar Reddy, bringing together a unique blend of sports, entertainment, and digital influence. In a creative twist, the campaign also includes a special Independence Day surprise crafted in collaboration with acclaimed visual artist Santanu Hazarika, adding an artistic flair to the celebration.

The campaign will be anchored on the eFootball™ India Discord server, which will serve as the central hub for all activities. Fans can participate in UGC challenges, quizzes, scrims, and more—with cash prizes and rewards for winners. The top performers in tournaments and Discord challenges will earn an exclusive invitation to the Meet & Greet event in Mumbai, providing a once-in-a-lifetime chance to connect with eFootball™ ambassadors and creators in person.
