Company targets ₹400 crore in revenue over next five years by directly supplying organic products to European consumers
New Delhi, 16 July 2025 – LT Foods, the 70-year-old Indian-origin global FMCG giant, has announced that its organic business arm, Nature Bio Foods Limited (NBF), has entered the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) segment in Europe. This strategic move is marked by the inauguration of a cutting-edge facility in Maasvlakte, Rotterdam, signaling a pivotal step in LT Foods’ global expansion plan.
The Rotterdam facility, spanning 20,000 square meters, is strategically located at the Port of Rotterdam—Europe’s key logistics hub. With an initial CAPEX of ₹20 crores and an additional ₹15 crores planned over the next three years, the facility is set to become a central node in NBF’s organic supply chain. It features four CO₂ pressure chambers for chemical-free disinfestation, three specialized cleaning lines, advanced packaging systems, and a storage capacity for 15,000 pallets.
With this investment, NBF aims to serve a growing European demand for organic products, including organic rice, pulses, superfoods, and oilseeds such as flaxseed, chia, quinoa, and more. These products, sourced sustainably from India, Africa, and over 20 countries, will now be directly accessible to mainstream consumers and retailers in Germany and the Benelux region.
