Leadership reshuffle follows Amardeep Singh’s elevation to CEO of IPG Mediabrands India and Shashi Sinha’s move to Executive Chairman.
Mumbai: Shantanu Sirohi has been appointed as the CEO of Interactive Avenues, the digital arm of IPG Mediabrands.
This leadership transition comes in the wake of Amardeep Singh’s elevation to CEO of IPG Mediabrands India, while Shashi Sinha assumes the role of Executive Chairman.
A co-founder of Interactive Avenues, Sirohi has been instrumental in shaping the agency’s journey. He joined as Vice President at the time of its launch in 2006 and was elevated to Chief Operating Officer in 2010. The agency was later acquired by IPG in 2013.
Prior to co-founding Interactive Avenues, Sirohi held the position of Associate Vice President at Mediaturf Worldwide. He also worked as a Senior Media Planner at Mindshare Fulcrum, where he oversaw media planning for Unilever’s soap brands in India.
Earlier in his career, Sirohi was associated with JWT (now VML).
