Poignant film highlights a father’s quiet sacrifices through a moving visual metaphor of an umbrella

June 13, 2025 — Mumbai: This Father’s Day, Shemaroo Entertainment pays tribute to the unsung heroes of every household with its heart-warming campaign #UnderHisUmbrella. The emotionally charged film captures a simple, powerful moment of a father stepping into the rain so his wife and daughter can stay dry— a small act symbolising the silent sacrifices fathers make daily.

The campaign film, set against the backdrop of a rainy day, transforms the humble umbrella into a symbol of a father’s protective, selfless love. Arghya Chakravarty, Chief Operating Officer of Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd., shared, “For over 60 years, Shemaroo has been telling stories that mirror the heart of Indian families. This campaign is a tribute to fathers who may remain in the background but form the emotional backbone of the family.”
