The campaign invites global innovators to co-create smart, sustainable health solutions with Taiwan’s world-class health, wellness, and technology industries
Taipei, June 18, 2025: Taiwan has unveiled the ‘Go Healthy with Taiwan 2025’ global call for proposals, inviting governments, institutions, enterprises, and organisations worldwide to collaborate on pioneering health initiatives. This campaign, spearheaded by the International Trade Administration (TITA) under the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) and implemented by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), aims to promote Taiwan’s health innovations on the global stage and foster international cooperation for better health outcomes.
The campaign seeks proposals that integrate Taiwan’s high-quality health products and holistic solutions to raise global health standards and enhance well-being across communities and industries.
Speaking at the launch event, Ms. Susan Hu, TITA Deputy Director General, highlighted how this initiative aligns with President Lai Ching-te’s vision of a Healthy Taiwan, creating new opportunities for global collaboration.
Mr. Joe Chou, Executive Vice President of TAITRA, added, “This campaign showcases Taiwan’s strength in health innovation while encouraging partnerships that will build smart, sustainable lifestyles powered by Taiwan’s advanced technologies.”
The event theme — “Pitching Taiwan’s Best: A Home Run for Proposals!” — was brought to life in a baseball-themed setting symbolising Taiwan’s proactive international engagement. Highlights included a symbolic home run hit by Taiwanese baseball star An-Ko Lin and the presence of Fu Bear, mascot of Taiwan Excellence, underscoring Taiwan’s determination to deliver world-class health solutions globally.
Key industry leaders and international media joined the event, including representatives from the Taiwan Bicycle Association, Taiwan Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association, and the Taiwan Medical and Biotech Industry Association.
The Go Healthy with Taiwan 2025 campaign spotlights five priority sectors:
✅ Smart healthcare technologies
✅ Medical aesthetics and wellness checkups
✅ Fitness equipment
✅ Sports technologies
✅ Bicycles
Taiwan, recognised as the “Bicycle Kingdom,” continues to lead in high-end manufacturing and sustainable supply chains, while its fitness and health tech industries set global benchmarks by integrating AI and ICT capabilities.
Building on last year’s success with 396 submissions from 45 countries under Go Green with Taiwan, this year’s initiative aims for 500+ proposals across five continents. The top three proposals will receive US$30,000 each, with further opportunities for commercial collaboration with Taiwanese enterprises.
