Mumbai: As the revered festival of Navratri approaches, Haldiram’s – India’s well-known traditional sweets and foods major, has unveiled an elaborate Navratri Special Menu that supports fasting and festive feasting. The campaign, interestingly titled ‘Divine Navratri, Pure Fasting, Pure Feasting!‘, showcases Haldiram’s mindful approach to curating culinary excellence with traditional values. The special menu will be available across all Haldiram’s outlets in North India and showcase a wide range of dishes carefully crafted for those observing fasts during Navratri.
The menu offers a range of chaats, snacks, thalis, combos, and desserts, made from ingredients that support fasting. Highlights include Purani Dilli ke Tawa Aloo Chaat, Kurkuri Sabudana Tikki, and Singhara Papdi Chaat among the chaats, with snacks like Singhara Paneer Pakoda and Peanut Cutlet. The thali offerings include the Special Navratri Thali which includes a variety of items like paneer sabji of the day, aloo sabji, khatta meetha sitafal, aloo papad, sabudana vada, and Singhara Poori. The menu also includes combo meals including the Aloo Sabji Combo, Sitafal Combo, and Paneer Curry Combo, and also showcases the favourite dessert of Indians at large – Navratri Gulab Jamun. Haldiram’s has also introduced Falhari boxes as part of their Navratri Special Menu. These thoughtfully curated boxes cater specifically to those observing fasts, providing a convenient, fasting-compliant assortment of snacks and meals.
