Integration of iconic brands like Denon, Bowers & Wilkins, and Marantz expands HARMAN’s portfolio and market reach
India – September 24, 2025 – HARMAN International (“HARMAN”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., today announced the completion of its acquisition of Sound United, the former consumer audio business of Masimo Corporation (NASDAQ: MASI). Sound United’s roster includes globally recognized audio brands such as Bowers & Wilkins, Denon, Marantz, Definitive Technology, Polk Audio, HEOS, Classé, and Boston Acoustics.
This strategic milestone significantly expands HARMAN’s presence across home audio, amplifiers, hi-fi components, AVRs, headphones, and car audio. The integration brings together Sound United’s celebrated brand portfolio with HARMAN’s established global audio business, creating one of the most comprehensive product lineups in the industry.
