Mumbai: Navneet Education Limited (NEL) continues its tradition of honouring educators with the third year of its impactful ‘#Tr.ForTeachers’ campaign. This Teacher’s Day, NEL has released a poignant digital video highlighting teachers’ invaluable role in shaping the future while advocating for their rightful recognition with the title “Tr.”
The ‘#Tr.ForTeachers’ initiative, launched three years ago by Navneet Education Limited, aims to bestow teachers with a professional title akin to those in other noble professions, such as doctors (Dr.), captains (Capt.), or judges (Justice). Navneet firmly believes that while many professions come with titles, the one profession that makes all others possible—teaching—often goes unrecognized. Teachers are the unsung heroes who work tirelessly to mould young minds with little expectation of acknowledgement or reward. This makes teaching one of the most noble and selfless professions of all.
The newly released digital video shows a touching scene in a classroom. After a day of instructing her students, a teacher is approached by a set of parents. The teacher, anticipating the usual discussion about their child, is taken aback when the parents reveal that they are not there to discuss their child’s academic performance but rather to express their gratitude. The parents acknowledge the teacher’s crucial role in shaping their child’s future and present her with a thoughtful gift—a nameplate titled “Tr.” before her name. This simple yet powerful gesture symbolizes the respect and recognition that teachers deserve.
