Mumbai: Angel investor and industry leader Rajat Kumar Jain has joined Vodafone Idea India as an independent director, with his appointment confirmed at the company’s 29th annual general meeting on 28 August 2024. Jain, who will serve for five years starting August 31, 2024, announced the move on LinkedIn.
In addition to his role at Vodafone Idea, Jain is an independent director at EMA Partners and previously served as non-executive chairman of Fino Payments Bank. With over 30 years of experience, he specializes in advising companies across sectors, mentoring leadership teams, and supporting the startup ecosystem. Jain is also the Founder of PadUp Ventures, a platform dedicated to nurturing technology startups. His previous leadership roles include MD at Xerox India and Walt Disney India.
