Mumbai, October 9, 2025: Following an overwhelming response in Delhi NCR, Uber has announced the expansion of its Intercity Motorhomes pilot to Mumbai, Bangalore, and Pune. The offering, which allows riders to book caravan-style Motorhomes for outstation road trips, will continue in Delhi NCR until December 31, 2025.

Bookings for the new cities open on October 13, with trips available from October 15. Initially launched in August to promote outstation travel through Uber Intercity, the Motorhomes pilot achieved 100% occupancy during its one-month Delhi run, prompting nationwide interest.

Each Intercity Motorhome features premium amenities such as a television, microwave, mini-refrigerator, and lavatory, offering travelers a private, lounge-like experience. Designed for 4–5 passengers, the vehicles include a driver and helper for added convenience.
> “Uber Intercity has become a preferred choice for dependable and comfortable travel between cities,” said Shiva Shailendran, Director – Consumer Growth, Uber India and South Asia. “The Motorhomes campaign’s success reflects the growing appetite for flexible, premium road travel across India.”

Riders can book in advance via Uber Reserve, add stops, track trips in real time, and access 24×7 live support. Given high demand, bookings are recommended at least 48 hours in advance.
As India’s largest organized outstation mobility platform, Uber Intercity connects travelers across 3,000+ routes nationwide. The Motorhomes expansion underlines Uber’s commitment to redefining long-distance travel with greater comfort, transparency, and convenience.
