LD will continue reporting to Anupriya Acharya, CEO of Publicis Groupe South Asia and work closely with other media leaders
Mumbai: Publicis Groupe South Asia has promoted Lalatendu Das (LD), currently CEO of Performics India, to CEO of Publicis Media South Asia. Meanwhile, Tanmay Mohanty, the outgoing CEO of Publicis Media Services South Asia, will be moving on to pursue new opportunities. Mohanty had been overseeing media operations for Zenith India and Starcom India, along with the Media Product & Solutions Portfolio.
In his new role, LD will continue reporting to Anupriya Acharya, CEO of Publicis Groupe South Asia, and will work closely with Jai Lala, CEO of Zenith India; Rathi Gangappa, CEO of Starcom India; Sejal Shah, MD of PMX India; and other media leaders.
Since joining Publicis Groupe India in early 2022 as CEO of Performics India, LD has added high-profile accounts, developed innovative products, and positioned Performics India as a leader in performance marketing and comprehensive digital solutions. Prior to this, LD spent nearly a decade at McKinsey as a Partner and founding member of McKinsey Digital Labs in the Asia Pacific, where he co-led digital and technology practices focused on digital business development, customer journey transformations, and analytics-driven transformations. LD also held key roles at Tata Consultancy Services for over ten years. With an engineering background and a postgraduate degree in Business Management from IIM Ahmedabad, LD brings 25 years of experience to his new role.
